Terms of Service & Refund Policy

These terms apply when you buy or use a checkup from LocalFixList ("we," "us"), operated by Underdog Ventures, LLC. By completing checkout you agree to them. Questions: hello@localfixlist.com.

1. The service

A checkup is a written report (PDF) reviewing a business's website and public Google Business Profile, with grades and a prioritized list of recommended fixes.

• Checkup ($49): delivered within 2 business days. Includes one follow-up reply by email.
• Checkup Plus ($99): delivered within 3 business days. Adds a copy-paste fix kit, a 3-competitor snapshot, and 14 days of follow-up questions by email.

Delivery times start once we receive your payment and the required details (business name, website, and Google Maps link or business name and city). Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding US federal holidays. If we can't meet a delivery time, we'll tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

2. What a checkup is and isn't

• We review publicly available information only. We don't need, and won't ask for, passwords or account access, so private data (like Search Console, analytics, or Google Business Profile insights) isn't included.
• Reports are prepared with AI-assisted analysis and checked against the live sources listed in each report. Anything we can't verify is marked as not verified.
• Recommendations are opinions based on the information available when we did the checkup. Websites and listings change.
• No guarantee of results. We do not promise any specific Google ranking, traffic, calls, leads, or revenue. Search engines and customers are outside our control.
• We don't make changes to your website or listings. Doing the fixes, or hiring someone to, is up to you. Make backups before editing your website.

3. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you own or are authorized to represent the business you submit, or that the business is public and you're entitled to request a review of it, and that the details you give us are accurate. You must be at least 18 and buying for business purposes.

4. Refund policy: "Useful or it's free"

If your checkup doesn't give you at least 10 specific, fixable issues, or you simply don't find it worth what you paid, email hello@localfixlist.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll refund 100% of what you paid. You don't need to return the report.

• If your website is already in excellent shape and we find fewer than 10 issues, we'll say so in the report. You're still eligible for a refund.
• If we haven't delivered your report yet, you can cancel any time for a full refund.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
• One refund per business. We may decline repeat refund requests for the same business.

Please contact us before filing a dispute with your card issuer. We'll resolve it faster.

5. Payment

Prices are in US dollars and are charged once at checkout through Stripe. There's no subscription. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout.

6. Use of the report

Once paid, you may use, copy, and share your report for your business, including with your web designer or staff. We keep ownership of our templates, methods, and tools. We may reuse general, non-identifying insights, and we'll only quote findings publicly after removing anything that identifies your business (see our Privacy Policy).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a checkup is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or losses from changes you or others make to your website or listings. Reports are provided "as is," without warranties beyond those stated in these terms.

8. Trademarks

Google and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. LocalFixList is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Other names mentioned belong to their owners.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase.
